Product Marketing Specialist

Job Summary:
As a Product Marketing Specialist at iSense and Sleep.8, you will play a key role in shaping how our products are presented to the world. We are looking for a self-motivated, detail-obsessed Product Marketing Specialist who will take full ownership of how our products are represented across print, web, and retail channels.
The ideal candidate is focused, efficient, and proactive, with the ability to manage projects from concept to completion without constant oversight. You must be a strong problem-solver who can independently research, organize, and communicate product value in a way that is both accurate and compelling. This role requires strategic thinking, excellent time management, and a drive for excellence in every task—big or small.

Key Responsibilities
Product Content Management

  • Manage and maintain product content across all platforms—websites, printed materials, and digital campaigns—with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Own product description creation and updates, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with brand voice.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure product listings and marketing assets are correct and up to date.

Product Positioning

  • Conduct competitive research and market comparisons to understand how products should be positioned and differentiated.
  • Collaborate with product and sales teams to refine key selling points and tailor messaging for different markets.
  • Use customer feedback and internal data to guide positioning strategies and ensure messaging reflects buyer needs.

New Product Launch Support

  • Lead the setup and marketing readiness of new products, including gathering specs, coordinating photography, and ensuring content accuracy before launch.
  • Manage translations of product content for global markets, coordinating with translators and verifying localized accuracy.
  • Work with the product development team to create use and assembly guides for each product across multiple languages.

Visual Coordination

  • Coordinate with graphic designers and animators to ensure product visuals
    (renders, photos, animations) are clean, high quality, and brand-aligned.
  • Understand how to assess and maintain image quality for digital and print deliverables, ensuring no pixelation or resolution issues.

Website & Email Marketing Support

  • Support product content on websites across regions—adding new products, updating specs, and maintaining consistent information.
  • Assist in writing and proofreading product-focused content for email campaigns and website updates.

Performance Tracking

  • Monitor product performance by market and platform; track trends and make recommendations based on what’s working.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to refine messaging or visuals when product performance does not meet expectations.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • Experience with marketing platforms, content management, and basic visual file handling.
  • Familiarity with Shopify and Adobe InDesign is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Content Management:

  • Oversee the development and maintenance of product content across websites, print materials, and other marketing channels, ensuring consistency and accuracy in product descriptions, visuals, videos, and related materials.
  • Ensure all marketing communications (web, print, digital) are aligned with current product offerings and maintain consistency in how products are represented.
  • Product Positioning:

  • Conduct competitor analysis to be aware of how our products compare to competitors.
  • Assist in the development of product positioning strategies that differentiate our products from competitors and highlight key selling points.
  • By studying buying behaviour and customer surveys, work to understand the target audience for each product across all business segments.

  • New Product Setup and Translation Facilitation:

  • Assist the product team in the setup of new products ensuring that all necessary product information, visuals, and content are ready for launch.
  • Facilitate the translation of product content into multiple languages for global markets, collaborating with partners to ensure accuracy and cultural relevance.

  • Visual Representation:

  • Facilitate the creation of renderings and images of products for use in our communication by working with graphic designers and animators to create compelling visuals and animations for our
    products.
  • Ensure that product images and animations are high quality and effectively communicate the product’s features and benefits.

  • Performance Tracking and Reporting:

  • Monitor product performance across various markets, regions, and stores, providing insights and recommendations based on data trends.
  • Track the effectiveness of product marketing strategies and adjust approaches based on sales performance and market feedback.

  • Email Marketing and Website Content Support:

  • Assist in developing email marketing content across all business segments.
  • Support website content updates to reflect the latest product offerings and ensure the accuracy of product descriptions, visuals, and videos.
