The iSense Warranty Coverage
Designed to provide you with peace of mind and assurance in your investment, the iSense 10 year warranty will help you rest easy. It’s a way to prove our commitment to your sleep journey long after purchase.
Our warranty covers defects in materials or craftsmanship for ten years from the date of your purchase as long as it’s from normal use and being handled properly. Enjoy free repairs or replacements for defects in materials or workmanship during the warranty period. Your iSense mattress needs to have been purchased after February 1, 2019. The defects include deterioration causing a sag, or defects that affect the integrity of the mattress. For the entirety of the 10 year warranty, your mattress will be repaired or replaced at no cost to you. There’s even no shipping costs.
Our Comfort Control Specialists will help you with your claim to make the process smooth and simple. We want you to know we’re committed to giving you the support you need, long after you’ve bought your iSense mattress.
Coverage for Electrical Components
The electrical components of your Hybrid Premier or Classic mattress are also covered under our 10 year warranty. Their coverage is a bit different from the mattress coverage. For up to 3 years, iSense will repair or replace any electrical component at no charge. After 3 years, the electrical components, like the remote, pump, and sensors, will be covered under a prorated rate.
Understanding What’s Covered
While our warranty offers extensive coverage, there are some things you should know. The limits to our warranty are understandable and typical.
Damages caused by improper use are excluded from coverage. What does that mean?
Our warranty does not cover a normal increase or decrease in softness of the material. It also doesn’t cover a change in your personal comfort preferences. Your mattress must be used with a proper bed frame, foundation, or adjustable base, as that ensures it has the support it needs. If your bed is damaged from not using one of appropriate support structures, the warranty will not apply.
The 10 year warranty also doesn’t cover any damage to the mattress like stains, burns, cuts, or tears. Damage from a fire, flood, lightning, or power surge is also not covered under our 10 year warranty.
What the Others Offer
The warranty coverage when shopping for a new mattress is an important aspect of your purchase. Many companies offer warranties that seem solid, but the fine print will tell you otherwise. Always do your research on a company’s warranty before deciding on a new mattress.
Most other companies will offer 10-15 year warranties, that sound similar to iSense’s 10 year warranty. However, when you look at the details, full coverage is usually only for 1 year. Beyond the first year, coverage is typically prorated. This includes the electrical components, if there are any. What’s unfortunate about this type of warranty is that you’ll be paying a lot out of pocket to repair or replace your mattress, which was already a big investment.
It’s likely you’ve seen other mattress companies offer a lifetime or forever warranty. This may seem enticing, but it’s actually pretty misleading. Even mattresses that are well-maintained and taken care of have normal wear and tear. This means you should ideally replace your mattress every 10-12 years, depending on what it’s composed of. So when you come across a mattress company that offers a lifetime warranty, it really doesn’t mean much. Plus, these warranties usually don’t provide full repair or replace coverage.
